Every song you make with Kuhu is yours. This page spells out what that means in practice.
What you can do
- Use your songs commercially. Weddings, birthdays, podcasts, YouTube and social videos, ads for your business, your shop's playlist, a walk-up song — monetized or not.
- Distribute them. Post, share, stream, or sell recordings that feature your track.
- Keep them forever. Downloaded songs are properly tagged MP3s that stay yours even if you delete your account.
The one carve-out
Large-scale film, television, and major-studio game productions need an expanded license that Kuhu's standard rights don't cover. If that's you, write to us and we'll sort it out.
What we promise
Kuhu's music engine is built on models trained on licensed data, and the commercial rights above pass through to you. We claim no ownership of your prompts or your songs, and we never train AI models on them.
